A homemaker-turned-entrepreneur, she embarked on her journey when the cakes and cookies she grew up with suddenly became unavailable due to the Covid-19 pandemic. These delightful snacks were staples in every household of her small town, where she was born and raised. Having spent the last 30 years taking care of her family, she found herself grappling with two major problems. First, what could she offer her kids and elderly family members as snacks? They wanted something tasty but she didn’t want to give them anything that might harm their health. Second, what could she enjoy with her chai without the guilt? During the lockdown, she decided to get creative and began experimenting with homemade biscuits, infusing them with her own unique flavors to provide a fresh, healthier alternative. This is how the journey of building Peri's Bakehouse began. 😊
